Cassette Mix
Cassette Mix is a music player you can use for free. To keep it free, the app shows ads from third-party advertising partners. Here is exactly what is, and isn't, collected, and the choices you have.
Side A · Your Music
Audio you import is stored locally. Cassette Mix never uploads, shares, or accesses your files over the network. Your library is yours alone.
If you grant permission, the app can read your Apple Music library to display and play tracks you already own. That access is used only for playback and is never shared or transmitted.
Side B · Advertising
Cassette Mix shows ads through Unity Ads (Unity Technologies). To serve and measure ads, Unity may collect and process:

Consent
On first launch, Cassette Mix asks your permission before using the advertising identifier, as required by Apple's App Tracking Transparency. You can change this anytime in Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be less personalized.
Where the law requires it, such as in the EU/EEA, UK, and California, the app shows a consent request through a Consent Management Platform before personalized ads appear. Your choices are passed to our advertising partners and govern how your data may be used.
The fine print
Cassette Mix has no accounts and does not collect your name, email, contacts, or the contents of your music library. The only data processing relates to serving ads, as described above. The app may fetch track artwork over the network, and no personal data is sent in those requests.
Cassette Mix is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. Advertising is configured to filter content unsuitable for children where supported. If this policy changes, the updated version is posted here with a new date.
